Bacchus Field
The Bacchus field is located in the Central North Sea and lies in a Jurassic Fulmar reservoir to the east of the Forties field.
The field was discovered in 2005 and was developed via a subsea tieback to the Forties Alpha platform. Production is exported through the Forties Pipeline System. First production was achieved in April 2012.
The field lies at a depth of 12,100ft and contains good quality 35⁰API oil. There is one production well supported by one water injector and aquifer influx.
It is planned to drill an additional development well.
